Un Data API

I am wondering if you folks have heard of this ‘GIVAS’ initiative, as per: http://www.voicesofthevulnerable.net/ and if you folks doing this public API have any activities in this area, and/or if a small amount of internal UN-funds were available for research, could UN-STATS participate in some innovative experimentation?
